About Us
Mike Arriola has been involved in the music scene on the Central Coast for over forty years. His popular dance band, Steppin’ Out, has been providing entertainment at public and private events for the last seventee years, and is still going strong. Why a second group? “There are other musicians who want to play and whose talents should be grown and showcased,” he says. “MAP is a way for that to happen. Besides, I just want to play music.” While Steppin’ Out is generally has dance-focused, R&B vibe, a set list for The Michael Arriola Project will consist of mostly oldies and span multiple genres. “People can either enjoy our music in their seats, or on the dance floor,” says Mike.
