Who Are We?

The Michael Arriola Project–or MAP, for short–is a just a group of guys who love to make music.

Mike Arriola

Band leader, singer, horn blower, and percussionist: hailing originally from Guadulupe, CA, Mike has been making music his whole life. A consummate performer, there is nothing he likes better than to interact with his crowd.

Junior Juanich

Guitarist extraordinaire, Junior was Mike’s right-hand man in starting up The Project. You will be treated to his amazing guitar solos when you come to a one of our gigs. Junior started his musical career in Santa Maria, way back in the day, when he was in high school!  All that experience has paid off, for sure.

Romer Aguilar

Romer is our talented Latino percussionist whose passion for playing is sure to get our audience to “feel the beat.”

Domingo Aguilar

Domingo is recently arrived from Venezuela, where he taught music in the university.   Providing consistent, skillful rhythm during our shows–as well as vocals–we are lucky to have “el profe” as a bass player.
